Moving to LA!

My fiancé Sophie has been accepted into UCLA for their PhD, so this August we’re moving to LA! I’m unbelievably grateful for the good times and all the wonderful work I’ve been fortunate enough to do here in St. Louis. While I’m sad to be leaving this wonderful city, I’m beyond excited to enter this next chapter on the west coast.

New Short film casting

I’m excited to be working once again with the amazing Christopher Büttner (who DP’d for Count to Three) on his upcoming film I Felt Younger When We Met. I’ll be starring as the lead Sven in this mind bending romantic drama, set to film later this May, 2024.

‘Freaky Friday’ style short, Lead with Your Hips Wrap

I just wrapped on a new student film project titled Lead with Your Hips. A comedic exploration of gender and vulnerability, Lead with Your Hips follows a high school star quarterback and his equally popular cheer captain girlfriend navigating young adulthood after waking up and discover they’ve mysteriously switched bodies.

Missouri PSA Work

I just had the opportunity to support an amazing cause through filming a statewide government PSA for Missouri988, a mental health crisis hotline. Getting to read off of a teleprompter for the fist time was a great experience, and I always love when my work intersects with causes I’m passionate about, such as mental health awareness and suicide prevention.

All in all, an amazing first commercial experience.

World Premiere at the Black Rep.

I’m honored to be playing a role in the world premiere of Hold On!, which will open the Black Repertory Theatre of St. Louis’s 47th season. I will be portraying Leverne, a deputy registrar in this never-produced play by Paul Webb, which inspired his screenplay for the Oscar-nominated film Selma. This poignant story follows Martin Luther King Jr. during the historic civil rights protests in Selma, Alabama and the violence and turmoil that followed. I am humbled to play a small part in this historic performance and originate a role in this premiere! You can see Hold On! at the Edison Theatre in St. Louis from January 10th-28th, 2024.

I’ve recently wrapped a Senior Thesis film at Webster University in STL titled The Milk of Human Desire directed by Analiese Bloom. Next up, I’ll be portraying “Noah” (not a typo!), the lead role in the romantic drama Count to Three, another Senior Thesis film directed by Jacob Wooten.

I had a blast trying out my home studio voice over set-up as I voiced Hank the Pug in the launch commercial for Puelo Dog Boarding Company! This was a great experience for my first commercial VO spot.

The Game’s Afoot

I am honored to join the cast of this year’s production of Shakespeare in the Streets, an annual celebration of St. Louis history through new adaptations of Shakespeare’s plays, put on by the esteemed St. Louis Shakespeare Festival. I will be joining the cast of The Game’s Afoot, adopted from the Henriad by local writer Ben Hoch, as Hotspur. You can see this imaginative soccer-themed adaptation across from the St. Louis City Soccer Stadium from September 14-16th, 2023.

TV Pilot

I have been cast in my first TV pilot! I’ll be playing a co-star role named “James” in the pilot episode of “Hard to Forget,” a limited-run mini-series about two queer women navigating relationships, family, love, mental heath, race, and sexuality, produced by Doing Nicely Productions. I’m looking forward to filming in Chicago for the first time next summer as part of this project!

Moving to STL

Big news — I’m leaving the East Coast and moving to St. Louis! My partner Sophie and I are relocating to the Midwest while Sophie pursues their Master’s Degree at Washington University in St. Louis, and I’m looking forward to beginning my professional career! I can’t wait to explore all this city has to offer, including the incredible arts scene and professional theatre.

Video Game VO

I’m excited to announce my first professional voice over project with the team at Ursa Mayhem Media! This summer, I voiced the lovable stoner “Robby” for their upcoming video game “Here There Be Bears.” The game explores Post Traumatic Stress Disorder through an escape room-style virtual reality game, and you can view the trailer now on Steam!

Au Revoir REM Collective!

After a year and a half of producing original works for film and stage, the REM Collective has gone on an indefinite hiatus. When I co-founded this group during the pandemic with just 3 members, I had no idea that it would soon blossom into the exciting, supportive artistic community it eventually became. Boasting over 30 members from college students to professional artists, 7 short films, 3 dance films, 2 music videos, a live operetta, open mics, and more, the legacy of the REM Collective lives on through its work and its members. Leading group taught me so much about collaboration and allowed me to wear so many hats, including as an actor but also as a director, writer, producer, casting director, movement director, fight coordinator/choreographer, and more.
